To Donate to the need's of our rescue, simply click on the "YouCaring" buttons located on the homepage. YouCaring is a website that allows you to build a fundraising campaign to raise funds for your chosen goal. It is a wonderful site to set up a campaign due to them not charging any fee's for transactions. The only fee that is charged is from the actual bank that handles the funds, and it is not part of YouCaring. YouCaring is 100% free to use. Standing Goat's Farm and Rescue is a privately owned/operated farm that supports Goat's in need. We do not profit from these animals in any way, but they do profit from us. When we rescue a goat and rehabilitate him/her, then the fee that is charged to re-home that animal is based solely from the money spent to rehabilitate him/her. We have sent goats to new homes for free on many occasions, due to us having "zero" funds invested in that animal. Other times the re-homing fees have been anywhere from as low as $10 - $15 up to as much as $150. If the amount we've invested goes above $150, then we will only ask for $150. We have found through the years that if our investment in the goat exceeds $300, then almost every time that happens...the goat usually doesnt recover from their injuries fully. In a situation like that, the goat will remain with us permanently. Those kind of injuries usually leave the animal where we consider them to be of special needs, and thats a lifelong commitment to guarantee the goat has a happy life. Not many people are willing to devote so much time and expense on a special needs goat, so we will take the responsibility ourself. If you are considering adopting a goat from our farm and rescue, please understand that "if" there is a fee involved...it will usually be an odd number (example: $41.90). The reason for the unusual price is that we only ask for the actual amount we have spent to rehabilitate that animal. Any amount paid above the set fee is considered a donation, and it will be used to purchase supplies the goat's are in need of. If you'd like to donate supplies instead of funds, then contact us and we will work out a way to get it from you that will work in your best interest. Thank you so much for taking the time to look over our website. May God bless each and every one of you!
